Men Need Confrontation II\II

What the world now most needs is integrated, initiated men. Living for what they would die for.

Look around you and tell me how many of those men that you see. 

The modern men's movement while well intentioned is almost totally inadequate at initiating men. 

It is too soft, too heady, and too far from the roots of initiation. 

For millennia, Core Confrontation was the central technology of village initiation.

Confrontation turned boys into men and men into exceptional men, ready and able to live, lead, and die for their village.  

Initiation worked because it had to.  

It was a threshold you made it through, or you didn't. People died all the time and that was key. 

We no longer need to risk the lives of young boys to make sure they confront their core material.  

And we do need each and every man to right now meet and move through their core trauma, their core avoidance, their core fear. 

With incredible kindness and unparalleled support. To the threshold, and through until it's done. 

A man's path is formidable.  

And, like the dragon hoarding treasure, 

An uninitiated man is a dangerous thing.  

Men,  

You need to be confronted.

Now is not the time for niceties, comfort comments, or spiritual bypassing. Now is the time to tell it like it is, get the needed support, and do the hard thing.

The beautiful thing is you don't have to do it alone and no healthy person expects that of you.  

You do however have to reach out, reach in, and commit. 

To doing this work now and for ever.

Nothing else works.
